The carrier sees our margin.

On every load we tell the carrier what we got it for, what we sold it for, and what we keep. Hence the name.

Three example loads, shown the way the carrier sees them
Lane Equipment Shipper rate Our margin Carrier pay
Omaha, NE to Kansas City, MO Dry van $2,400 $260 $2,140
Sioux Falls, SD to Denver, CO Reefer $3,800 $350 $3,450
Norfolk, NE to Des Moines, IA Flatbed $1,650 $200 $1,450
Example figures. Your real numbers are on your rate confirmation if you haul for us, or on your load file if you ship with us. The lanes and equipment are examples too; tell us yours.

What a shipper gets

What you want from a broker is simple and hard to get: someone who picks up the phone, a tracking link that works, and the paperwork before you have to ask for it.

  • One person who answers.

You deal with Francisco. His number and his email are on this page, and they go to him.

  • Tracking links.

When the truck is loaded you get a link, so you can see where your freight is without calling anyone.

  • Updates as they happen.

Pickup, in transit, delivered, and anything that goes sideways on the road. We tell you when it happens.

  • Paperwork as soon as we have it.

Bill of lading and proof of delivery. We forward each one the moment it reaches us.

  • You see our margin, and so does the carrier.

Your load file shows your rate, the carrier pay and what we keep. The carrier sees the same three numbers on the rate confirmation.

What a carrier sees on every load

The rate confirmation we send you has three numbers on it: what the shipper is paying us, what we keep, and what you get. A normal rate con shows you one of those.

  • We help with the tech for updates.

If you need help setting up tracking or sending updates from your phone, we walk you through it.

  • We expect timely updates back.

Tell us when you are loaded, when you are rolling, and when you are empty. If something changes, call us before the shipper has to call us.

  • We pay as soon as we can.

The terms are in the carrier agreement you sign. We do not put a day count on a website and then argue about it later.

How a load moves with us

  1. Quote

Send us the lane, the equipment and the dates. We come back with a rate.

  2. Rate confirmation

We book a carrier. Their rate con shows all three numbers: the shipper rate, our margin and the carrier pay.

  3. Pickup and tracking

The truck loads, the shipper gets a tracking link, and updates go out as things happen.

  4. Delivery and POD

The driver sends the proof of delivery. We forward it to the shipper as soon as it reaches us.

  5. Invoice and carrier pay

We invoice the shipper and pay the carrier as soon as we can.

What we are here to do

We are here to bring transparency into the industry. That comes down to four things.

  • Open and communicate our margins.
  • Be a good, communicative and available broker to our shippers.
  • Be a good broker that gives as much margin as possible to our carriers.
  • Run the business effectively, then pay carriers as soon as we can.

Questions you should ask a new broker

You’re new. Why should I trust you?

You don’t have to take our word for anything. Our USDOT and MC numbers are above; look them up on SAFER. Then run one load with us. The rate con shows every number, and the shipper gets the tracking link and the paperwork as it comes in. If what we say and what you see don’t match, don’t give us a second load.

What does “we show our margin” mean?

When we book your truck, the rate confirmation lists what the shipper is paying us, what we are keeping, and what you are getting, three numbers on the same page. On the board above, that is the shipper rate, our margin and the carrier pay. If you are the shipper, your load file shows the same three numbers.

How do you make money if the carrier sees the rate?

The same way every broker does, from the margin between what the shipper pays and what the carrier gets. We write it down where you can see it. We keep enough to run the business, and we would rather keep it reasonable and have you call us back.

What do carriers need to get set up?

Send Francisco your MC number, the equipment you pull and the lanes you run. He will send you the setup paperwork and tell you what he needs back.

How fast do carriers get paid?

As soon as we can, once we have the paperwork. The exact terms are in the carrier agreement you sign, so read them there. We would rather you hold us to what you signed than to a number on a website.

How will I know where my load is?

You get a tracking link when the truck is loaded, and we send you an update at pickup, in transit and at delivery. If something changes on the road, we call you.

What freight do you handle?

Tell us the lane and the equipment. If we can cover it well, we quote it. If we can’t, we tell you, and you have lost one phone call.

Do you own trucks?

No. We are a licensed property broker, MC 63200176. We book your freight with a carrier that has its own authority and insurance, and we stay on the load until the proof of delivery is in your hands.
